Care Bears were born 40 years ago in 1982 with 10 original bears. The aim for Care Bears is to be inclusive, diverse, colourful, emotional, nostalgic and huggable.

The Care Bears are a roly-poly collection of lovable little Bears with a very special mission: each of the Care Bears captures and expresses a human emotion. In the complex world of human communication and emotional expression, the Care Bears help people share their feelings with other people.

In Care-a-lot, the Care Bears help each other with their own caring challenges, each using their own special expertise. Sometimes they bring a child with a particular caring concern up to Care-a-lot. And, occasionally, the Care Bears must speed down to earth to help with some caring crisis in our own world.
